- What does National Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you?
I love Spanish heritage month, and reminding ourselves on the opportunity we must connect with our culture and family on the stories and journeys that got us to where we all are now. Spanish heritage month allows us to reflect and indulge on our cultures stories and traditions that have remained prevalent through the centuries. Shedding light that we all have unique journeys that have shaped our impact on, our societies all backed by the roots that make our culture.
- What memory or tradition reminds you most of your heritage?
Yes, I would be reimpressed if I didn’t start with the food, and how the food has always brought my family together to sit around a table and share our stories. Our heritage truly embodies family, love, and shared experience to develop and grow.
- What is your favorite Spanish recipe? Or food?
My dad’s Paella & Yucca are hands down my favorite family meal.
