Trax Analytics App Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TRAX Analytics, LLC (“TRAX,” “we,” “us”) handles information in the Clean+Inspect mobile app.
It covers the mobile app only. Our website is covered by a separate privacy policy at [LINK].
Who this policy is for
Most people using the app are doing so because their employer uses TRAX. If that is you, two things are true at once:
- Your employer decides what work information gets collected in the app, who at your organization can see it, and how long it is kept. Their policies govern that information, not ours. If you have questions about your work activity in the app, or want that information corrected or removed, start with your employer.
- We still handle some information about you directly, such as your login credentials and the technical data your device sends us. This policy explains that part, and the choices you have over it.
If you are an administrator, buyer, or evaluator at an organization that uses or is considering TRAX, this policy covers your use of the app as well.
What we collect
Account and identity information. Your name, work email address, employer or organization, job role, assigned locations, and the user ID your organization issues you. In most cases your employer creates your account and provides this information. We do not require personal contact details.
Login and authentication data. Credentials, session tokens, and single sign on identifiers where your organization uses SSO.
Work activity in the app. Tasks assigned and completed, inspections submitted, checklist responses, scores, notes, inventory counts, service records, and the date and time of each. This is the operational record your employer uses to run their facility.
Photos and video. The app allows you to attach photos and video as proof of service. These are uploaded to your organization’s TRAX account. Photos taken in a working facility can incidentally capture other people. We ask organizations to set expectations with their teams about what should and should not be photographed.
Location and proximity information.
The app records where work happens, so your organization can confirm that a location was serviced. Depending on how your organization has configured TRAX, this may use Bluetooth beacons installed in the facility, badge or tag scans, or your device’s location. . You can turn off location permission in your device settings, though some features will stop working.
Device and diagnostic information. Device model, operating system version, app version, device identifiers, language, crash reports, and performance logs. We use this to keep the app working and to diagnose problems.
Usage information. Which features are used and how often, in aggregate.
Push notification tokens, if you enable notifications.
Support communications. If you contact us for support, we keep the correspondence and any information you include in it.
