JCM Business Solutions
JCM provides facility management and janitorial services across six markets, from airports and stadiums to schools and hotels. As it grew, it needed one quality control standard that held in every one of them. It got there with Clean+Inspect, and without installing a single sensor.
No sensors. No hardware. One standard across six markets.
JCM was growing, and growth is where quality control quietly breaks. An airport, a stadium, a school, and a hotel do not expect the same things, and a facility services company running all four ends up with four versions of what “inspected” means. At that point you cannot compare accounts, you cannot benchmark them, and you cannot tell a client how their site is performing relative to anything.
Standardizing that was a corporate initiative at JCM, not an IT project. The company wanted one process for benchmarking its operations that stayed consistent across every client base. It selected TRAX as its technology partner and began rolling out Clean+Inspect company-wide in 2021. No sensors were installed and no hardware was required.
The Challenge
As JCM expanded, standardizing its technology became a company priority. The goal was a single, streamlined way to benchmark operations, and the hard requirement was that it stay consistent across every client base. That consistency is the difficult part. Six markets means six sets of expectations, and inspection standards that drift account by account produce data nobody can compare.
There was a promise underneath the initiative too. JCM sells service backed by real data, which is a straightforward commitment when you are small and a much harder one to keep with every account you add. It only holds if the data comes from one system.
The Solution
JCM selected TRAX as its technology partner and began rolling out Clean+Inspect across the company in 2021. Supervisors run quality control inspections on their phones, in the field, against the same standard no matter which market the account sits in. Nothing was installed in the buildings. The deployment is the app and the platform behind it, which is why JCM could take it into new accounts as fast as it won them.
TRAX worked alongside JCM’s management team through implementation and built custom reports around the inspection data and quality control metrics JCM actually wanted, delivered daily. The rollout covered Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, JFK, and Newark Liberty International Airport, and TRAX continues to meet with JCM as the deployment grows and the reporting needs change.
What TRAX deployed
- Clean+Inspect for quality control inspections in the field
- One inspection standard applied across every market JCM serves
- Custom reports on inspection data and quality control metrics, delivered daily
- Single dashboards spanning multiple vertical markets and regions
- Rollout across Manchester-Boston Regional, JFK, and Newark Liberty airports
- No sensors, dispensers, or hardware installed
The Benefits
- One quality control standard applied consistently across every client base
- Inspection data that can be compared across vertical markets and regions, so performance is benchmarked rather than estimated
- Inspections completed on a phone in the field, with no trip back to an office to file them
- Daily reporting into JCM management, built around the metrics JCM asked for rather than a default template
- New accounts added without a hardware install, so the system scales at the speed the business does
JCM began rolling out Clean+Inspect in 2021 and has taken it into airports including Manchester-Boston Regional, JFK, and Newark Liberty International. The deployment continues to expand, and TRAX meets with JCM regularly to keep the reporting aligned with what the business needs as it scales.
